Terms and Conditions

These terms cover the marketing services LadyBugz provides, the paid tools you can buy on this website (the LinkedIn Profile Assessment and the B2B Marketing Strategy Audit) and your use of www.ladybugz.co.za. We have written them in plain language so you can read them in one sitting.

1. Who we are and how to reach us

In these terms, “we”, “us” and “LadyBugz” mean the company named above. “You” means the person or business that uses this website or buys from us.

LadyBugz Academy at ladybugz.academy is part of the same company, but it has its own Terms of Service and Refund and Cancellation Policy. Those apply to anything you buy on the Academy, not these.

2. Agreeing to these terms

• You agree to these terms when you buy a LinkedIn Profile Assessment or a B2B Marketing Strategy Audit, or when you accept a proposal or quote from us that refers to them.
• If you are buying for a business, you confirm that you are allowed to agree on its behalf.
• You must be 18 or older to buy from us.
• If you do not agree, please do not buy from us.

3. Agency services

Our agency services include LinkedIn strategy, training, marketing and profile management, B2B marketing strategy, webinar hosting and marketing, website design, copywriting, video editing, marketing collateral, coaching, white label work for agencies, ESG and social sustainability solutions, account based marketing and our B2B brand ambassador programme.

• Before we start, we agree the work with you in writing, in a proposal, quote or agreement. That document sets out what we will do, what it costs, when it will happen, how you pay and how either of us can end it.
• Where that document and these terms say different things about your project, the proposal, quote or agreement wins.
• Where it says nothing about something, these terms fill the gap.
• Single coaching sessions can be paid for online through the payment link on our Coaching page. The price shown there when you pay is the price you pay.

4. The LinkedIn Profile Assessment, R180 once off

• A personalised report on your LinkedIn profile. We look at it section by section, score each part and tell you what to change first.
• You give us your LinkedIn profile link and your profile saved as a PDF from LinkedIn. You can add your CV if you want to.
• Your report is emailed to you within 24 hours of a complete submission.
• If you attended one of our trainings or were given a VIP code, the code makes the assessment free. Codes are for the person they were given to, can be used once each, and have no cash value.
• It is a once off purchase. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.

5. The B2B Marketing Strategy Audit, R995 once off

• A reviewed read of your B2B marketing: your positioning, your social media, your website and search visibility, your content and channels, and whether AI search tools can find your business.
• We run the checks, and a LadyBugz strategist reviews the results by hand before the report reaches you.
• You get your audit within 2 working days of paying. Working days are Monday to Friday, not counting South African public holidays.
• If you have a valid discount code, the reduced price is shown before you pay. Each code has its own end date and can be withdrawn after that date.
• It is a once off purchase. It does not renew and there is nothing to cancel.

6. What we do not promise

Please read this part carefully.

• Search engines, LinkedIn and AI tools such as ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity are run by other companies. They change how they work without telling us, and the same question can get a different answer on a different day.
• We do not guarantee any ranking, position, mention, citation or recommendation on any of those platforms.
• We do not guarantee leads, enquiries, sales or revenue. Our reports and plans are not a forecast of what your business will earn.
• Our recommendations are professional marketing advice. They are not legal, financial, tax or accounting advice. The decision to act on them is yours.

7. Prices and payment

• All prices are in South African rand and are the full amount you pay us.
• The assessment, the audit and online coaching payments are taken by Paystack over an encrypted connection. We never see or store your full card number.
• If you pay from outside South Africa, you pay the rand amount. Your bank converts it at its own rate and may add its own fee.
• Prices on this website can change, but a change never affects something you have already paid for.
• Agency work is paid upfront, unless we agree otherwise in writing. Your proposal, quote or agreement can set different payment terms.

8. Refunds and cancellations

The assessment and the audit

• Both services are performed entirely online and start as soon as you pay and ask us to start. Under the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, you have a seven day cooling-off period unless the service has started with your agreement. By paying, you agree that we start work immediately, which means the cooling-off period does not apply.
• We do not give refunds once your report has been delivered, because the work has been done.
• The only exception: if your report is shown not to contain real information about you or your business, we redo it or refund you in full.
• If you paid twice by mistake, we refund the extra payment in full. That is a correction of the payment, not a refund of the service.

Agency services

• A retainer can be cancelled with 30 days’ written notice, unless your proposal, quote or agreement says otherwise.
• Other projects are cancelled as your proposal, quote or agreement says.

How refunds are paid

• Refunds go back to the card or account you paid from, through Paystack. We cannot pay a refund to a different person or account.
• We send the refund within 10 working days of agreeing it. Your bank usually takes a further 5 to 10 working days to show it.
• Please email us before you ask your bank to reverse a charge. We would rather sort it out quickly ourselves.

Nothing in this section takes away any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act or the Electronic Communications and Transactions Act.

9. Your information and your content

• Everything you send us stays yours, including your LinkedIn profile, your CV, your website details and your business information.
• We use it only to deliver what you asked for, as set out in our Privacy Policy. We never sell it.
• You confirm that you are allowed to share what you send us, including anyone else’s personal information.

10. What belongs to us

• Our methods, frameworks, scoring, templates, tools, report layouts, articles and the LadyBugz name and logo belong to LadyBugz or to the people we license them from.
• The reports and plans we prepare for you are yours to use inside your business, including with your own team or agency. You may not resell them, republish them as a product or present our method as your own.
• Who owns the finished work on an agency project is set out in your proposal, quote or agreement.

11. Using this website

• The articles, guides and tools on this website are general information. They are not advice for your specific situation.
• You may share links to our pages. Please do not copy our content in bulk, scrape the site, or republish our guides as your own.
• Do not try to break, overload or get around the security of this website or its forms.
• Links to other websites are there to help you. We do not control those websites and are not responsible for them.

12. If something goes wrong: what we are responsible for

This section limits what we are responsible for. By agreeing to these terms you agree to it.

• We provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
• Nothing in these terms takes away a right you have under South African law that cannot be taken away. We do not exclude our responsibility for gross negligence, fraud, or anything else the Consumer Protection Act does not allow a supplier to exclude.
• Apart from that, we are not responsible for lost profit, lost business, damage to your reputation, or any indirect loss.
• We are not responsible for what another company’s platform does, such as a search engine or AI tool changing its answers, LinkedIn restricting an account, or a payment provider being unavailable.
• Where we are responsible, the most we will pay is the amount you paid us for the service concerned in the 12 months before the problem arose.

13. Complaints and disputes

Please come to us first. Email noleen@ladybugz.co.za and tell us what went wrong. We aim to acknowledge your complaint within 2 working days and to resolve it within 10 working days.

If we cannot sort it out between us, you can take it to the National Consumer Commission, or to court. For anything about your personal information, you can also complain to the Information Regulator. Its details are in our Privacy Policy.

14. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. When we do, we change the date and version at the top of this page. The version that applies to a purchase is the one shown on this page on the day you paid.

15. Other things

• If a court finds one part of these terms cannot be enforced, the rest still applies.
• If we do not enforce something straight away, that does not mean we have given it up.
• These terms are governed by the law of the Republic of South Africa, and any dispute is dealt with in a South African court.

16. Information the law requires us to give you

The Electronic Communications and Transactions Act says anyone selling online must give you certain information. Most of it is above. Here is the rest in one place.
